Target check-out

Sniffling, red-nosed, pregnant, she signs the charge at Target check-out. Youngest son, one shoe on, one off, sits in the cart, good-naturedly waiving goodbye to the checker. Next son, with too thick glasses and a bad haircut, hangs out with the eldest, a daughter, wearing lime green hair ribbons and an attitude.
